1940s Theater Seats
This industrial style tandem theatre seats, was rescued from the high school theatre in Mount Sterling, Kentucky . The seats and back rests are made out of bent plywood, the arm rests are solid wood. The structure and seat mechanism is made out of steel. New brass hardware has been installed, wood has been refinished and metal structure has been cleaned and sealed to preserve its vintage condition and slow down its ageing process. Seats can be folded up and the base can be removed but they should be attached to another surface for stability.
