Pickle Wood Stools
For the construction of these stools we used two different types of wood and powder-coated metal for the footrest. The seat is reclaimed pickle vat wood which we sanded and sealed. The base is solid white oak that we ebonised with quebracho bark tea and a vinegar-rust solution.
Outdoor Bench
We wanted this outdoor bench to appear more like an architectural detail than a piece of furniture. For the boards on this outdoor bench, we used some extra teak that a boat builder was selling, for the base we used a water resistant wood called red grandis. Both the base and the boards' finishes are water proof as well.
